Do cooked vegetables have nutrition?
I'm asian so about 99.9% of the veges I eat are cooked: bok choy, dark leafed vegatables boiled, mostly stir fried in wok.
Steaming and lightly stir-frying are good ways to cook veggies without losing all the nurtients. Boiling is not. You should eat both raw and cooked veggies as some substances are more readily used by your body in their raw form and some (like the lycopene in tomatoes) is more available in cooked veggies.

Stir fried veggies are healthier than boiling or roasting them. Raw is best, of course. Buy some digestive enzyme suppliments to get the most out of what you eat, and take a multi vitamin everyday.

Yes, cooked vegetables do have nutrition. The nutritional value may, however, be altered depending on what the vegetables are cooked in. It's best to use oils, not butter. Stir fried in wok doesn't make for very healthy veggies, though.

Raw is NOT always best. Some nutrients are better absorbed when cooked. Carrots are a perfect example.
Take a mulit-vitamin every day and then don't sweat this stuff. Food should be enjoyed, not struggled over.

Cooking food does not destroy nutrients, not unless you overcook and burn up what you is cooking.

Try to steam all vegetables–it helps them retain the most nutrients… And choose frozen over canned if you can't buy fresh!

avoid over cooking your veges.
overcooking would kill 90% of the nutrition you can get out of it. and most you get are only fibers.
