A multivitamin only contains a small amount of iron so taking an iron supplement as well is OK. As you eat a lot of red meat you really don’t need an iron supplement as the iron in red meat is absorbed really well.
If you drink a lot it depletes your magnesium levels and also your levels of vitamins B1 and B3 but as far as I know it does not deplete your iron levels.

If your iron is low, you should take an iron supplement with a multivitamin. However if you don’t have low iron you could get constipated if you take an iron supplement.

It wont hurt anything. The only thing is you may be peeing your money down the drain. After a certain point the vitamin and supplement cant be used by your body anymore. It wont hurt anything to try.
