Do You Take Multivitamin Supplements After Working Out Or Just In That Day?

I dont take a supplement just designed for protein, but i take Theragran-M, which pretty much has 100%+ of everything. I’ve been taking it with meals like it says mostly lunch and sometime breakfast once a day. I workout everyday bu different parts of my body. Do i have to use a protein supplement or can i just use this, and do i have to use it every day or…?

Multivitamins don’t have any protein in them. You can have one MV once during the day and it may help, but it doesn’t matter when you have it. What matters is right after your workout (in the first 45 minutes is what the pro bodybuilders say) to have something high in protein, say 20-25 or more grams. That way you replenish your muscles with protein and get the fibers rebuilding after you’ve torn them working out. You could go out and buy protein powder for this purpose (whey protein is the most common) but you could also just have some chicken or cold cuts or milk, as long as you get that protein post-workout.
