		<description>You don&#039;t have to take protein you intake a lot of protein from you meals.  without knowing your diet it is hard to say.  do you eat a lot of meat?  if so protein supplement is not necessary.</description>

What matters is right after your workout (in the first 45 minutes is what the pro bodybuilders say) to have something high in protein, say 20-25 or more grams.  That way you replenish your muscles with protein and get the fibers rebuilding after you&#039;ve torn them working out.  You could go out and buy protein powder for this purpose (whey protein is the most common) but you could also just have some chicken or cold cuts or milk, as long as you get that protein post-workout.</description>
