Are Pre-natal Vitamins Such As Obimin, A Multivitamin Supplement For Pregnant Women, Safe To Be Taken By Men?

Sure they are, in most cases. There are no female hormones or anything toxic in them that a male should worry about. He certainly won’t get pregnant from them!
The one concern would be extra iron. Men are more likely to develop an excess of iron which may increase the risk of heart disease. A man should check with his doctor before taking them on a long term basis. Since some contain stool softeners, men with sensitive guts might have diarrhea after taking prenatal vitamins. And anyone on blood thinners like coumadin should avoid any vitamin pill containing Vitamin K unless their doctor OK’s it.
I wouldn’t recommend them for every day use for men for those reasons, but if a man accidentally took one, or took them once in awhile, no problems.
