Should My Calcium Supplement Contain Vitamin D If My Multivitamin Already Contains 100% Vitamin D?
I was going to buy a calcium supplement since my multivitamin only has about 20% of the RDA for calcium and I don’t get much from food. However, after looking at the labels, I’m not sure which one I should buy.
One of them contains 120% RDA of calcium and that’s it. The other one contains 120% RDA of calcium plus 200% RDA of Vitamin D.
My multivitamin already has 100% RDA of Vitamin D. Do I need more than that if I’m taking a calcium supplement, or does my multivitamin provide enough?
Thanks!
