What’s The Difference Between Dietary Supplement Multivitamins And Food Supplement Multivitamins?
No difference – a vitamin is a vitamin.
For example, the same folic acid that is being used to fortify breakfast cereals can be found (in higher dose) in pill form at the vitamin section of the store.
Another longstanding one is “Total” which has been around since the 1960′s, having vitamin C, calcium, iron, vitamin E, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B6, folic acid, vitamin B12, pantothenic acid, and zinc. The identical compounds can be found in multivitamins.
