i breastfed all of mine and they were fine and healthy with just mama’s milk…. they did not start eating tablefoods until they were almost a year old… the baby will get all she needs…. just make sure you eat healthy so that you get what you need

The U.S. Surgeon General recommends that babies be fed with breast milk only for the first six months of life. This means not giving your baby any other food or drink – not even water – during this time. Drops of liquid vitamins, minerals, and medicines are, of course, fine, as advised by your baby’s doctor. It is even better if you can breastfeed for your baby’s first year or longer, for as long as you both wish.
Solid iron – rich foods, such as iron-fortified cereals and pureed vegetables and meats, can be started when your baby is around six months old. Before that time, a baby’s stomach cannot digest them properly. Solids do not replace breastfeeding. Breast milk stays the baby’s main source of nutrients during the first year. Beyond one year, breast milk can still be an important part of your child’s diet.

No, a healthy breastfed baby doesn’t need vitamin supplements. The breastmilk is designed by nature to provide everything baby needs until he’s eating solids.
(The only possible exception might be vitamin D. Our bodies make it from sunlight, so if baby gets VERY little sunshine, it might be advisible to give vitamin D drops.)

No. Breastmilk is enough and will provide her with all the nutrients she will need,
There is no need to ‘top’ this up – please check with your GP as I don’t think they even make supplements for children this young (bearing in mind the tiny doseage she would need)

She gets everything she needs from your breastmilk. If she doesn’t get out in the sun much she may need vitamin D but that’s it.

no not at all, if your baby is b/f then she is getting absolutely everything needed from you.

No you do not have to but it won’t hurt her.

Nope. Vitamin D would be the only question. But, if she gets some sun, I wouldn’t even worry about that. Funny that our society always wants to improve on nature.

if you take your baby outside and she gets sunlight then there is no reason to give her any supplements.

Not that I know of. We never gave my infant son any supplements. Your baby gets all the nutrients it needs from your breastmilk, provided you are eating healthy.
